Which tioman resort best

Normally, we got to ask the hotel for the arrangement of suprise for someone that we love on their or our spcial date rite? But this one, i totally not involved.. Mr Sentil and The Team did suprised me and my husband at the same time. With such hospitality, personalised service, initiative and friendly staff, i can say, this resort is full of gems..

For first time experienced of Tioman Island, i felt worth paying every penny spent.. Food is nice. Go for ala carte menu if u dont like the buffet. The price is resonable. Not expensive if compare to others Seafood restaurant such as Aunty Paya Seafood Restaurant located behind the resort.

Beach Bar is good place to hang up and drink your beer till midnite. Tioman is duty free island.. Will definitely come back again soon.. It's a wonderful place, but choose some good place to stay like Nazri's place in ABC.

Where your hotel is, matters most. It decides everything. It's a wonderful place. It's like a paradise on earth! But, people like many Malaysians are quite annoyed easily. It's money oriented. There are many cats on Tioman island. If you are a cat lover, you should consider bringing some kitty food for these hungry furries! Tioman island was known for its beautiful under the sea life. However, my recent visit after 22 years was unfortunately disappointing. The underworld were no longer as beautiful and preserved like back then.

Most corals were dead due to irresponsible humans behavior. I really hope that us humans can help to preserve what's left of the corals and underworld sea life for our children to appreciate them in the future.

Overall, good place for relaxing. Worthwhile visiting various beach and waterfall. The place is indeed natural wonder. I've been to some islands before, but Tioman is special to me.

It's an awesome place for diving and relaxing. If you'd been to other cities in Malaysia and you'd probably notice that people in Tioman Island always have a smile on their faces, and that's really great.

There are many different areas on the island itself. The one I went to was Paya. It is supposedly the cheapest to stay there. I love the chinese restaurant at the jetty. I will recommend going there to settle for your dinner! Tioman is a good place for holiday.

However, they have to improve the system and traffic at jetty. This was a poor experience when we waiting ferry at jetty. Too difficult to get to. Ferry check ins are impossible, inefficient and I won't be going again as it took us 9 hours to get there and 12 hours to get home to Singapore!

Buses late and badly organised and queues at ferry for "seat number", tax, getting into the departure hall, getting out of the departure hall, getting into the ferry, etc. Then the buses are late in Mersing and no-one knows which bus to take, with people being denied access, sent to another bus, etc.

Easier to get to other places so sorry wont go back to Tioman in a hurry. This island is great for sea-lovers and excellent for those looking for a getaway from bustling city life.

Going to and back is one setback, which I sincerely hope the government will look into. The least they could do is upgrade the ferry system to be more efficient. This will encourage more people to visit and have a better overall experience in tioman. Then upon return, the wait at Jetty under hot sun wasn't pleasant either. Locals weren't queing up and shoved their way to ferry filling it up, leaving queing tourist stranded on Jetty. Younger tourists were swearing off, and I think an elderly French couple politely called their resort to pick them back to their Tioman hotel.

Their extended stay shouldn't be taken positively. And there is a lot people smoking in TIOMAN which really ruining the island environment and polluted to the air quality. I wish they can take some action to smoker especially when they throw the cigarette into the sea.

Expecations were high, but Tioman has not developed in a sustainable way in comparison to other islands. We have visited various islands 25 years ago and in the recent 4 years. Will not recommend, unless you go there for scuba diving or snorkeling. We will not go again. There's really nothing much to see and do on Tioman. Went there on a romantic getaway but the romance died off on the 2nd day.

A duty free island. Alcohol drink are cheap, but the choc are expensive. After the build of the airport, only few place are left behind as great diving site. Everything good except ferry to this island. We waited 6hours for the Ferry from Tioman to Mersing. One of the greatest island "Pulau" in Malaysia. I would say that the South part is definitely the best one. Tioman Island is a good place for relaxing. There have a nice beach in some area, beautiful coral at few coral island. You can enjoy the local food at here and enjoy the snorkelling.

Its also a good place for couples and family. Sea is clear and beautiful. Snorkeling is a must do at the island. So are the people.

A good place to relax and away from city noises. Tioman Island is just hours land and 1 hour sea travel from Singapore. It's a great destination for nature lover. This was my 1st time to Tioman with my children and friends and we really enjoy this trip.

Snorkelling and fishing was wonderful and we can see clear water beaches and also corals from the jetty at paya area.

A stunning underrated island with lots to offer. Take a drive through the island and experience the hills and stunning flora and fauna on the island. The roads are steep. If you want a cheap holiday with beautiful beaches, hills, food and water sports, then Tioman is the place for you. Tioman is a calm and serene place. If relaxation is what you have in mind it is the rightmost place in entire SE Asia. However enthusiasts who are looking for nightlife and a lot of activity will find it a tad boring.

Alcohol is available in amazingly low rates and variety is decent there are limited food options available however. The corals were all dead. There are only a few species of fishes and no corals in the Marine Park.

I would recommend against visiting there. Accessible dive and snorkeling site in Malaysia. Best time to go will be during the dive season when there is clearer water. Do not expect an european breakfast, lunch or dinner but for us the malaysian cuisin I am pleasantly surprised to say that our experience at Coconut Grove exceeded A Chalets were perfect and clean. Directly on the beach, with hammocks and ample amenities.

Beach was very clean and spacious. Lovely laid back vibe and comfortable sleep. Friendly family that runs the place. Very close to cheap and local restaurants, a 2 min walk southwards.

Can't wait to come back for my next vacation. Bring your own booze from Tekek before arriving! We will definitely visit t Pro Breakfast provided. Free flow of water. Clean bedsheets and blanket. Con Bathroom could do a bit of scrubbing. The wall is so thin, I thought my traveling partner was snoring or I thought it was her phone that's rang. Room not fully closed. We could see mosquitoes as big as an elephant flying around the room. I even accidentally squashed one during my sleep since I even accidentally squashed one during my sleep since I saw the tell tale blood mark on the pillow case.

Definitely no wifi signal in the room. So if you are a digi subscriber, you'll be an advocate for early night sleeper unless you are willing to stay at the restaurant to get a connection.

Flat pillow. Room isn't that clean. It was ver Located next to jab laut, near to snorkel and scuba. Also walking distance to great pizza place. The toilet is ok, eventhou its not in the room but not sharing.

If recommend it for a honeymoon, a quiet getaway or a base for doing some more activities like hiking or snorkeling.

The room was comfortable. I stayed in the ones just behind the beach view ones for the first night, which are cheaper and perfect for a shorter stay. Then I moved to the beach view, which really was perfect. Terima kasih!
