Where we all agreed to disagree! I'm laughing here. Because we really disagreed! But you really did pull this whole season together for me here. It's hard to watch it week by week and keep everything together. I"m glad they are running the season-to-date marathon as well and have warned my husband that nothing shall interrupt my viewing! Of course, it isn't as though it isn't on my DVR already and will remain there until the DVD comes out but never mind that… Anyway, I will view it through new eyes and work on being a lot more open minded on changes which really do keep things fresh and innovative whether they take the story in the direction I want it to go in or not.
I know that I have a lot more hope for story and character development for the next 2 seasons now. This may very well become the DVD set that everyone "has to have"! I really, really hope they do a great DVD set for this season. There is nothing more disappointing than a great season of a show and nothing in bonus materials to sink your teeth into. For example, I'm vastly disappointed in Human Target.
There's ONE commentary track on the upcoming release. A great season, great creative team, and ONE commentary track?! BN's past releases have had some decent features, but I'm holding out for some great ones. Like commentary tracks with any or all of our five main actors.
You know Bruce's commentaries would be a riot. Jeffrey was really great to listen to when he appeared at the Paley Center. Gabrielle and Sharon would have some great insights, and I know from experience that Coby is a riot. So I just beg that they make use of them on the DVDs somehow. A lot. Ok, Brittany, I confess — I have done a on Jesse. He was fabulous in the summer finale!
Can't wait to read what you have to say. Hope it lived up to your expectations. My only disappointment was that Barrett got killed in the overturn. I was looking forward to seeing him in action. Or am I assuming too much? Looked pretty serious to me though.
Even more disappointed that Vaughn survived — if, indeed, he did. I should've known it'd be a great episode when Fiona told the client and fellow kidnappee, "Sometimes you have to be your own white knight. Of course, that's really easy if you know how to make bombs out of household items and can cause a big scene discrete enough to steal a cell phone unnoticed, all while looking stunningly beautiful.
I have to admit, I was really happy to see Fiona do something other tell Michael that he's a bad human being. She didn't need to do much to win me over again, but this episode was definitely above and beyond what I expected. At this point, the only thing that can make this better is if they throw in a steamy kissing scene between Fi and Jesse next week. And as much as Fiona stole the show this week, Maddie came in a close second with her usual combo of snark and insight.
No surprise there, really, considering Sharon Gless' Emmy nomination and all. But it's worth pointing out that the women rocked this episode. Michael Westen : Previously on "Burn Notice". Vaughn Anderson : [on cassette tape] We found a replacement. Name's Westen. Fiona Glenanne : I thought Vaughn told you he had nothing to do with burning you. Vaughn Anderson : [to Michael] Here's to your partner.
I'm glad we found each other. Sam Axe : That thumb drive has the names of all the people that burned you, Mike. It's the key to taking them down.
I'm just gonna talk to the man. Tyler Brennen : [to Michael and Sam] If Vaughn ever gets a listen to you outing his little secret society, he's gonna kill, well, you and you.
The only thing stopping it? Sam Axe : We found out where Brennen is keeping that list. Larry Sizemore : You son of a bitch. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. To Michael's astonished relief, after his incarceration as traitor, James claims to accept his explanation and offer to be handed over to the CIA, while Mike and Sonya are to take over his organization.
Elsewhere, Fiona steps in to help Madeline ward off a bookie trying to collect an unpaid debt. Meanwhile, Fiona does a favor for a powerful ex in order to get information for Michael. After seven seasons and more than episodes, Michael Westen's story finally got an ending on the series finale of "Burn Notice.
Plots are now going in directions like "We'll just get the red feather from the blue parrot and switch it with the giraffes hat, and avoid the stares of the green unicorn" every time I'm like "Uh? Constantly voicing her feelings and worrying about things like broken nails! Burn Notice ended its run with it's final episode on September 12, It is about burn notices issued to agents who are considered to have become undependable. In "Things Unseen" S7E10 , a Jericho with two-tone slide is pulled by Nando Jesse … Summary: Michael and Fiona pose as hackers at a malicious programming syndicate in order to steal information for Sonya.
